Gleaning (Free Groceries)
Every Sunday afternoon, a dedicated team of volunteers hosts a free grocery gleaning in our fellowship hall. We partner with Town & Country Market who provides produce, bakery items, and packaged goods that are nearing their sell-by date and can no longer be sold in the store. All items are donated to support anyone in our community who experiences food insecurity. Bring your own bags, and come “shop” absolutely free
Monday Night Dinner
Our Monday night dinners are on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month. We invite the community to join us for a free meal and good fellowship. (Your donations make this ongoing effort to feed our neighbors possible, thank you!)
Community Breakfast
We serve breakfast for the community on the fourth Saturday of each month. We invite the community to join us for a free meal and good fellowship. Formerly known as “Men’s Breakfast” because our men cook and host, this meal is for everyone, and you are welcome here. (Your donations make this ongoing effort to feed our neighbors possible. Kids Day Camp (VBC)
Bethesda is hosting a Vacation Bible Camp called Operation Restoration: Mending God’s World. During this exciting weeklong program, kids learn to be menders of the universe as they explore the daily themes of Feed, Heal, Forgive, Pray, and Rest. Operation Restoration is scheduled at the location of Bethesda Lutheran Church (23406 56th AVE W, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043) from August 4 through August 7. Each daily session starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 noon. This VBS is open to all kids ages 5 through 5th grade.

Plant Sale
Seedlings, flowers, veggie starts, crafts and more at the Bethesda Plant Sale fundraiser. Proceeds support our community programs that help provide groceries, meals, gas cards, and utility and renal assistance.

Easter Sunday Service
Celebrate the risen Lord! Our interactive service will feature the Bethesda choir, accompanied by guest instrumentalists.
Good Friday
Join us for a Tenebrae service to reflect on Christ’s death on the cross. In-person or on Zoom.
Tenebrae: we sit with the gathering darkness
